The Redback is a small and compact pistol crossbow from HORI-ZONE that impresses at first sight. The pistol crossbow is particularly light and handy thanks to the plastic used and the pressed fiberglass. The pistol grip, which is ergonomically shaped, and the adjustable front handle ensure optimal adjustment to the shooter and the necessary comfort when shooting. Hori-Zone Crossbow Pistol Redback XR
The Redback XR is stretched over the rear clamp. To do this, simply release the safety device and press the bracket down. The string is already being pulled backwards and tightened. The pistol crossbow has a double safety and is thus protected against unintentional triggering or an empty shot. Firstly via a classic empty shot safety device in the trigger unit and secondly via the cocking bracket, which first has to be locked in its initial position in order to be able to fire a shot.
The Redback by HORI-ZONE uses high-quality BCY string, which is otherwise only used on larger crossbows. The choice of a brand string on a "small" pistol crossbow is clearly based on the longer service life and the better bolt speeds of up to 195 fps (approx. 215 km/h).
