This handcrafted cup (also known as a beaker or tumbler) brings a piece of history right to your table. The outer surface is polished to highlight the unique colour structure of the horn – shades can range from ivory, through brown, to deep black. The wooden base provides stability, so you can set the tumbler down securely without it tipping over.
Ready to Use and Safe
The inside of the tumbler is carefully sealed with a certified resin lacquer that is approved for food contact. This layer prevents the drink from coming into contact with the horn itself and protects the cup from damage. It is designed for cold and lukewarm drinks.

Care Instructions and Important Warnings
To ensure this unique horn tumbler serves you well for as long as possible, it is essential to follow these guidelines:
- ✅ What to do:
- Wash with lukewarm water and mild soap before first use.
- Hand wash only with lukewarm water.
- Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth immediately after washing.
- For a longer life and shine, you can occasionally rub the outside with beeswax.
- ❌ What NOT to do:
- NEVER put in a dishwasher! The hot water and chemicals will permanently damage the horn.
- NEVER use in a microwave.
- DO NOT pour hot beverages into it (like coffee, tea, or mulled wine). This could cause cracking.
- Do not let the tumbler soak in water for long periods.
- Do not expose it to strong sunlight or heat sources.
- Not suitable for beverages with an alcohol content over 20%.
Please note: Horn is a natural, organic material. Over time, it can "work", dry out, and small cracks may appear. This is a natural property of the product, not a defect.
