Depictions of boars often appeared on the helmets of elite warriors, such as the famous Benty Grange helmet, where the boar crest was believed to protect the wearer in battle. Mercia, one of the most powerful kingdoms of Anglo-Saxon England, adopted this symbol as its own. This journal, therefore, carries the legacy of ancient warriors and their indomitable spirit.
