Care and Maintenance Instructions
To ensure your brass goblet serves you well for a long time, please give it the proper care:
- Never put the goblet in a dishwasher! The acids and high heat will permanently damage the brass.
- Hand wash the goblet only, using lukewarm water and a little mild washing-up liquid.
- After washing, dry it immediately and thoroughly with a soft cloth to prevent water spots.
- The goblet is not intended for hot beverages (brass is an excellent heat conductor and could burn you) or for highly acidic drinks (e.g., fruit juices), which could react with the metal.
- It is normal for brass to naturally darken and develop a patina over time. If you prefer the shiny look, you can polish the goblet from time to time using a standard brass polish (e.g., Brasso) and a soft cloth.
- After polishing, wash the goblet thoroughly to remove any polish residue before its next use.
