Design and Functionality
At first glance, you will be struck by the aggressive, black-coated blade with a dagger profile. The finish eliminates unwanted glare—crucial for tactical use—and simultaneously increases corrosion resistance. The spine of the blade features a sawback serration, which helps when cutting tough materials like ropes or webbing. The blade is crafted from premium Böhler N690 stainless steel. The handle is a masterpiece in itself. It is constructed from stacked rings of genuine leather in various shades of brown. This traditional method of handle manufacturing, famous since WWII, ensures not only a beautiful appearance but, more importantly, a firm and warm grip that won't slip even in a sweaty palm. The handle is finished with a massive metal pommel featuring a lanyard hole and is separated from the blade by a steel guard that protects your fingers from slipping onto the edge.
History and Symbolism
Etched onto the blade is the inscription "VIVERE MILITARE EST". This Latin quote by Seneca, meaning "To live is to fight," perfectly captures the spirit of this knife. Mikov, the traditional Czech manufacturer from Mikulášovice, continued its long tradition of military knife production with this model. The Geronimo became an icon of the late 90s and is still sought after today for its ruggedness and iconic look.

Care and Maintenance
Although the knife is made from highly durable materials, it deserves your care to last a lifetime:
- Blade: N690 steel is stainless, but always clean and dry it after use in wet or acidic environments. Occasionally wipe it with a thin layer of gun oil or knife oil.
- Handle: Leather is a natural material. Do not leave the knife submerged in water or in direct sunlight for long periods, as the leather could dry out and crack. Treat it occasionally with beeswax or leather conditioner.
- Sheath: The leather sheath should also be treated with leather care products to keep it supple.
- What not to do: Do not use the knife as a pry bar or screwdriver. Although robust, the tip is designed for piercing and cutting, not for prying open crates.
