• Bishop: A powerful wizard (Merlin), influencing the course of the battle with his staff and magic.
• Knight and Pawn: Traditional horses are replaced here by mythical dragons perched on spheres. Dragons are inextricably linked to Arthurian legends, particularly the prophecy of the red and white dragon.
• Rook: A detailed castle turret, which also serves as the supporting leg for the chessboard at the corners.

Material and Craftsmanship

The figures are made of polyresin. This is a special resin that, once hardened, acquires the hardness of stone but allows for capturing the finest details, from dragon scales to the folds of cloaks. The subsequent hand-painting in a combination of metallic tones and coloured accents (blue vs. red) makes it easy to distinguish sides during play and gives the set a luxurious look.

This set is both a game and a decoration. To ensure it lasts as long as possible:

• Handling: The glass board is fragile; always grip it firmly when moving and do not place heavy objects on it.
• Cleaning: Remove dust from the figures with a soft brush. The glass can be polished with standard cleaners, but avoid chemical contact with the painted figures.
• Safety: Polyresin is durable, but dropping a figure on a hard floor could cause fine parts (sword, staff) to break off.
