This knife is equipped with the highly popular Liner Lock mechanism. Once the knife is fully deployed, a tensioned steel liner inside the handle snaps behind the tang of the blade, locking it firmly in place. Always exercise caution when closing the knife – push the liner aside with your thumb and carefully fold the blade down with your index finger. Keep your fingers completely clear of the blade's path! The knife comes very sharp from the factory and is intended strictly as a utility tool. Do not use it for prying, chopping, throwing, or martial arts training.

To ensure a long lifespan, we recommend keeping the knife clean. After use in damp or dusty environments, wipe the knife down and occasionally lubricate the locking mechanism and pivot screw with a drop of high-quality gun oil. You can easily maintain the edge in top condition using a pocket sharpener.
