Armour of the Holy Land Defender
The figurine faithfully depicts the iconic equipment of knights from the turn of the 12th and 13th centuries. The knight wears a Great Helm (Bucket Helm) with distinctive cruciform reinforcement, which provided maximum head protection. Under the surcoat (tabard with a cross on the chest and back), chainmail is visible, covering the entire body including the limbs. In his right hand, he holds an arming sword, and with his left, he rests on a kite shield adorned with a relief cross in the centre. Golden details on the helmet, belt, and shield add a touch of exclusivity to the statuette.

Founded in 1119, the Templar Order was one of the most powerful Christian military orders of the Middle Ages.
