Viking armour
Vikings are mainly known for their tenacity, raids and the conquest of the then known world. The Viking armour varied, because each warrior had to secure his own armour. The basic armour consisted of a longer tunic, and then each individual could, depending on their financial situation, get various types of Viking helmets, armbands, leather or metal pauldrons. Nevertheless, every Viking going into a battle had to have a round shield.
