Crusader Shields

The crusader's medieval shield was an essential part of every crusader's equipment during expeditions to the Holy Land as well as the Constantinople conquest in 1204. A crusader was a volunteer knight, who was promised forgiveness for his sins for participating in the Crusades. Before every Crusade, each knight made a vow and was marked with the sign of the cross. Hence the name Crusaders. You can also find this cross on replicas of period Crusader's shields in our offer. The shields are suitable as decorations, for LARPs or for historical fencing.
