Leather Care

Even a fool's shoe needs maintenance! From the factory, the leather is treated with a beeswax balm. Regularly grease it with a high-quality leather balm or cobbler's oil. This softens the material and waterproofs it against moisture. If the footwear gets wet during an outdoor performance, stuff it with newspaper and let it dry very slowly at normal room temperature. Never dry the boots on a hot radiator, too close to a fire, or in harsh direct sunlight! The leather would quickly harden and crack irreversibly.
