The narrow, flat blade of the rapier Bergerac is made of flexible oil-quenched spring steel. With this blade can be performed both slashing and stabbing attacks. When a strong pressure attack is performed, the blade gets a “bow shape”. After releasing the pressure the blade gets back its original straight shape.
