The belt pouch was modelled on a specimen circa from the 16th century coming from the French harbour town of Toulon. The front part is produced from a single piece of leather by pressing on the form called the last. It is sewn to the rear part by a leather strip. Ornamental flowers are embossed on the bag's flap.

French belt pouch with a wrought pin
It is worn suspended from the belt. Loops are attached with copper rivets and ornamental flowers. The belt pouch is closed with wrought pins. The French belt pouch with a wrought pin is mainly made of up to 3mm thick smooth cowhide. Besides the colour shown in the picture the belt pouch is available in other colours: see the choice of colour. At your request we can produce various lengths of the loops for suspension.
Please note: This product is made by hand from genuine leather. This is a purely natural material. Minor differences in the colour and surface texture are its natural characteristics. These small imperfections do not decrease the value of the product. Each piece is to some extent an original.
