Auxiliary Infantry-helmet Niederbieber
the original of this replica is a find from the archaeological site of Niederbieber, the remains of a roman Auxiliar-fort near the raetian Limes at the Wied, a tributary of the Rhine. Helmets of this type were probably worn by both the infantry and cavalry as well during the 2nd and 3rd century AD.
