These medieval trousers are tied at the waist with a cord. A wedge-slit with lacing is the rear part, by which you can adjust the trousers-waist exactly to your measure. The codpiece is also laced. The legs are at their bottoms partially closed. So you need not worry that the legs come out of the shoes. Dating from 14th century.
