The historical Gothic belt is provided with patterns according to sources from the 14th century. It is made of up to 4 mm thick dyed cowhide. The buckle is made of a composite material alloy. The buckle is manually sewn onto the leather strap with flaxy thread. Along its entire edge the belt is decorated with an ornamental groove. The belt's width is 3 cm.
Besides the colour shown in the picture the Leather belt with a buckle is available in other colours: see the choice of colour. You can also choose the belt's length. And if you state your waist measure in the order, holes will be precisely cut in the belt so that the belt fits you well.
Please note: This product is made by hand from genuine leather. This is a purely natural material. Minor differences in the colour and surface texture are its natural characteristics. These small imperfections do not decrease the value of the product. Each piece is to some extent an original.
In the case of hand-forged blades, our blacksmith takes the already rolled spring steel and forges it by hand on the anvil or under the drop hammer. The steel gets more solid (denser) by forging. In the case of industrially rolled spring steel blades, the sheets of steel plate is cut to strips under drop snips, then ground or milled and immediately forged into the annealing furnace and oil-quenched. The properties of both kinds of steels are not very different, since industrial rolling is already very good! On forged blades are usually blacksmith marks, which give them an authentic and unique look.
