Miniature Leather Notebook with Dagger and Leather Strap
The Magic of Handwritten Words in Pocket Size
Writing by hand still has immense benefits today. It slows down your mind, helps you better organise your thoughts, and demonstrably awakens your creativity. Historically, similarly small booklets, often called a vade mecum (translating to "go with me"), appeared as early as the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. They served scholars, merchants, and pilgrims for quickly recording important information right on the road without taking up precious space in their luggage. This notebook from the renowned brand House of Warfare is an excellent accessory for historical reenactment and fantasy worlds.
Technical Parameters and Craftsmanship
The cover of the notebook is made of genuine leather. Because it is a hand-processed natural material, the colour shade and texture may differ slightly from the attached photographs. Inside, there are clean white paper pages firmly bound to the cover. The entire little diary is securely closed by wrapping the narrow leather strap around it, under which the metal dagger with its intricately decorated hilt is stylishly tucked.

What to Write With and How to Care for Your Diary
To ensure your notes remain legible and the pages are not destroyed, we highly recommend you write or draw exclusively with an ordinary pencil, charcoal, a classic ballpoint pen, or coloured pencils. Absolutely avoid using liquid ink, fountain pens, or watercolours! These could bleed unpleasantly on the white paper and soak through to the following pages, irreversibly ruining your notes.
We recommend occasionally treating the leather cover with a high-quality colourless leather balsam containing beeswax. This will allow the leather to retain its suppleness and prevent it from drying out. Please remember that leather naturally darkens slightly after applying grease. Never dry the notebook in the immediate vicinity of an open fire or on a hot radiator, as the leather could crack and harden.
Recommended Accessories
To complement this miniature diary, we highly recommend acquiring a handy small leather belt pouch to store it safely, and a set of LARP coins, which will perfectly complete your equipment as a mysterious merchant or a hardened adventurer.
