Sturdy reconstruction of late-medieval shoes found in London, and dated about 1380 AD. Each shoe has three laces for fastening at the instep. The 2mm-thick upper leather is sewn using a turnshoe-style edge/flesh butt seam. The sole is made of several layers of cowhide leather. This modern construction allows for an authentic turn-shoe "look", while offering more stability and durability.
