- All metal parts are made of Zamak Alloy (base metal zinc with alloying elements of aluminium, magnesium, and copper)
- The wooden pole is made of Samba wood (Triplochiton scleroxylon).
- The used designs are based on originals preserved in Museum of the Army (Toledo).

The entire halberd is wobbly because of the screw-on mechanism in the middle. The overall production quality of metallic components is sloppy, with everything but the head being incredibly wobbly and stained. The head of the halberd is rough around the edges, with bits of alloy protruding from crevices, and could do with some polishing. Some of the bubbles next to the angel are popped. I expected higher quality, especially given the hefty pricetag (the shipping in particular). It is, however, a great decorative piece from a distance.
