How much does the shipping cost?
The shipping is calculated according to the overall weight of the items in your shopping cart.
You will see the exact amount when proceeding to the checkout before order your final confirmation.
It means that you can still decide whether to buy or not.
Customers from outside the EU will be automatically charged no 21% VAT after a non-EU shipping address has been input.
Since I live in the U.S. am I still required to pay the 21% VAT?
No, as soon as you enter a Non-EU delivery address into your order, the shop system will charge automatically VAT-free prices.
Do you make custom-sized chain mail armor?
The production of chain mail armor requires a lot of human handiwork. We were affected by an important fact that also changed the rules in many other industries. The labor costs of European workers far exceed the labor costs in Asia, even if you take into account the transport costs from Asia! For this simple reason, in the EU there are no workshops that manufacture chain mail armor professionally - and we are working with professionals only! Hobby-producers, who occasionally work in their garages, do not fit into our business concept. We are very sorry; we cannot make for you any mail armor made-to-your measure. Some re-enactors found a solution for this situation: they buy our imported standard-sized mail shirts (sometimes oversize or several pieces), unravel them and make tailor-made mail shirts, legs and other armor parts by themselves.
Can you ship batons, knives, crossbows or bladed weapons to the UK?
Unfortunately it is impossible since the Brexit. We can still ship costumes, boots, plate armour etc. to the UK. Anything that can be considered as a dangerous item (weapon) by the customs, can be confiscated.
I've inherited a nice weapon from my grandparents. It could be an original. Can you assess its value?
Unfortunately we have no art historian in our team. I can recommend you to look up an expert in a directory of expert witnesses or an auction house in your country. If you intend to sell your original militaria, contact Herman Historica from Munich that specialize in auctions of this kind.
I have a store with a product portfolio in which many of your products would fit. Do you sell to resellers?

My glove size is 9. What size of gauntlets should I order if I want to wear padded leather gloves inside?
If you want to wear un-padded leather gloves in the gauntlets, order both in the same size (in your case size 9). With padded leather gloves we recommend to order the gauntlets always one size higher (so in your case 10). If you discover that the goods do not fit after receiving it, you can exchange it for free. You only pay the shipping costs.
I have ordered a sword in your store and would like to order a scabbard now, how?
The scabbards are made exactly to the size of the blade. Please select a scabbard you like. If you´re not sure, whether it is a suitable one, contact us with your order number and we will recommend you a suitable style. If you have already received the sword, we will ask you after receiving your order to submit several measurements of the sword blade. If we still have not dispatched the sword, we will take measurements of the blade ourselves and have the scabbard made for you in correct size.
Are the delivery dates on the e-shop website guaranteed?
If the goods are in stock, we usually dispatch them the next working day. If the goods are not in stock, there is also a provisional stocking date. Occasionally we will receive goods earlier than the scheduled stock date, but occasionally there are delays. Please understand these dates as indicative and preliminary.
How do I know whether you have the item in stock?
The availability of goods is always indicated on the respective product page. There you can see either "In stock + quantity" or "On order" + "Provisional dispatch date" if ordered now. If you want to limit your selection to products in stock, we recommend that you click on the "In stock" filter on the left-hand side in the " Narrow your Results" column.
