Knights were mostly nobles trying to look gallant at every festival. A good example is this knightly shirt. It is made of high quality black cotton and shines with its gold or silver slits on the sleeves that shine under the black velvet fabric. There are two functional buttons on the cuffs, as well as the buttons on the sleeves and the lacing on the front, which runs from the chest to the collar, is also functional.
