One-handed sword, Oakeshott XII, Class A
Such sword was typical in the 13th and 14th centuries. The hardened spring steel hilt is forged through to the pommel and riveted at the end of the handle. The hilt consists of steel tang covered with hard wood, wrapped in genuine leather. The cross-guard and the pommel are made of steel. The blade tip is rounded.
