This product is composed of the forearm guard, the guard protecting the back of the hand and the round shield that protects the elbow. The forearm guard and the guard protecting the back of the hand are made of up to 3.5 mm thick smooth cowhide. The entire surface of the guards is embellished with ornaments. Moreover, they are also decorated with decorative rivets. The guard protecting the elbow is fastened with two strips with a buckle. The length of the forearm protecting shield is 12 cm. The length of the shieldprotecting the back of the hand is 9 cm.
The round shield is made of a wooden core. The front side of the shield is wrapped in cowhide. The thickness of the entire shield is circa 12 mm. We can adopt this thickness at your request. The size (diameter) of the shield is circa 30cm. Besides the colour shown in the picture the shield is available in other colours: see the choice of colour.

Please note: This product is made by hand from genuine leather. This is a purely natural material. Minor differences in the colour and surface texture are its natural characteristics. These small imperfections do not decrease the value of the product. Each piece is to some extent an original.
The production of chain mail armor requires a lot of human handiwork. We were affected by an important fact that also changed the rules in many other industries. The labor costs of European workers far exceed the labor costs in Asia, even if you take into account the transport costs from Asia! For this simple reason, in the EU there are no workshops that manufacture chain mail armor professionally - and we are working with professionals only! Hobby-producers, who occasionally work in their garages, do not fit into our business concept. We are very sorry; we cannot make for you any mail armor made-to-your measure. Some re-enactors found a solution for this situation: they buy our imported standard-sized mail shirts (sometimes oversize or several pieces), unravel them and make tailor-made mail shirts, legs and other armor parts by themselves.
