The Living History Gambeson from raw linen leads to the waist and has a laced closure. The long sleeves are laced at the shoulders to the Gambeson. The Gambeson is individually hand-made from 5 or 12 layers of raw linen by hand. Only raw linen (no filling material for the upholstery) is used. The lacing holes are also stitched by hand. This design imitates truly the historical original. The color of the raw linen varies depending on the available material from grey to grey -green. We cannot guarantee or influence it.
