Costume of Renaissance Spanish nobleman was designed according to period artwork (16th century). Spanish fashion costume consists of cotton shirt with collar and decorating lace. Over shirt was worn satin doublet, which has button fastening on sleeves and chest. Brocade pants have baloon cut and stuffed fly. Over clothing was worn pelerine, which was a short cloak with a collar. Pelerine is decorated with hand-sewn pearls. The pants have to be pulled up over the thighs (as shown in the picture), so that the get baggy. The lower bands of the pant legs should hold well on the stockings. Should they slide down, you can pin them with safety needles to the stockings.
