User Guide and Maintenance
Operation is simple: Insert the crank into the stock port, hook the sled onto the string, and turn the handle to cock the bow. Once the string is locked, release the sled and detach the crank. For decocking (let-down), follow your crossbow's specific manual – the crank allows you to slowly and safely let the string down from a cocked position without firing.
Maintenance: Regularly inspect the pull cord for fraying or wear. Replace it immediately if any damage is found. Treat the internal mechanism with a drop of silicone oil occasionally. Never attempt to use this crank on other crossbow brands, as this may lead to sled failure or damage to the stock.
Recommended Bolt Parameters and Accessories
For Killer Instinct bows using this device, we recommend premium carbon bolts (20" or 22" depending on your model) with Moon Nocks. To maintain smooth operation, use string wax and rail lubricant regularly to reduce friction on the sled and preserve your string's lifespan.
