Women's Viking costume Revna - M, from Duvetine, from Linen
This women's Viking costume consists of a top dress in yellow ocher color, which is decorated with an embroidered hem in the neckline. There is also a clasp made of patinated zinc alloy with beads made of glass and non-ferrous metal. The lower edge of the dress is decorated all around with machine embroidery. Under the dress there is a long Linen shirt with a small slit at the neck. The shirt is decorated with a woven hem of the same color at the lower edge of the sleeves and at the neckline. The clothing of the Vikings depended on what part of Scandinavia they lived in and what their position in society was. Most clothes were made of Wool and Linen, and both women and men liked bright colors. They liked to adorn their clothes with embroidery and pearls.
The photographed robe was made from the following fabrics:
- Outer dress: Duvetine (100% Cotton)
- Shirt: Linen (100% Linen)
The following alternative materials can be used on request:
- Outer dress: Wool (80% Wool, 20% PES)
- Shirt: Cotton (100% Cotton)
