Four-plate steel cuirass

Both the front and back plates of this cuirass are split. Both parts are loosely fastened from the inside with short leather straps. Such a connection gives the re-enactor / warrior more freedom of movement than if the plates were in one piece. The breastplate is worn above the abdominal plate. A total of 3 pairs of leather belts with strong iron buckles are riveted at the shoulders and on the sides of the abdominal and back plate. The cuirass is closed with these 3 pairs of straps. The inside of the cuirass is sprayed against corrosion black.
