This Visored Combat Bascinet is made of 2mm thick steel. The inside of the helmet is sprayed with black paint against corrosion. Inside, the helmet is equipped with a strong leather lining and leather cheek tongues, which are tied under the chin to hold the helmet on the head. The visor is secured in the folded position with a safety bolt on spring. In addition, the visor can be completely removed by pulling out the connecting pins at the hinges on the sides of the helmet. By removing the visor the closed Bascinet gets transformed into a normal open-face bascinet.
