Celtic armour

A Celtic warrior wouldn’t be complete without a chainmail armor and an iron helmet. These pieces of armor were sometimes replaced by leather alternatives. However, it all depended on financial status of individual fighters, because the metal was very expensive. Shields made of wood or iron sheet were a significant protective equipment.
