Arrow feathers and fletchings

Arrow feathers is an aerodynamic stabilisation arrow. It is most often made from feathers, but nowadays we also come across plastics ones. These are the three same sections of the feathers attached to the back of the arrow in such a way that they are evenly distributed around the circumference of the arrow. They're traditionally fixed with silk thread, but it is much easier to stick the feathers. Their purpose is to keep the arrow in flight and ensure its stability. The arrows fletchings should correspond to the arrow tube's diameter, its length and weight. As a rule, the sportier the bow with the higher muzzle velocity, the smaller the rudder should be.
