Bowstrings are inflexible parts of the bows. They are simple, reverse-twisted or looped. You will find many various bowstrings in our e-shop. Your choice will mainly depend in these facts: which material is suitable for your bow, how many strands of bowstring you need, what size loops you need, what length is suitable for you, etc.
Bowstrings (like bows) underwent significant development. Animal tendons or natural fibers are used for bowstrings making in the past. Today, modern materials are used: Dacron B50, Kevlar 7-11, Fastflight S4, Dyneema. Choose bowstring according to the type of your bow.
The bowstring from Dacron is ordered the most frequently. It is hand made. Dacron strings are durable, stretch, easy to maintain and can last several years. They are used for practice bows and older models of bows.
Materials as Fastflight, Dyneema or Premium are suitable for strings of sports bows. Bowstrings from Fastflight, Premium and also Dacron (by older models) are used for compound bows.
