Medieval front laced ankle shoes
Very solid reconstruction of medieval front laced ankle shoes. This kind of shoes was common in Europe from late Dark Ages up to late Middle Ages. The 2mm-thick upper leather is sewn using a turnshoe-style edge/flesh butt seam. The sole is made of several layers cowhide leather. This modern construction allows for an authentic turn-shoe "look", while offering more stability and durability.
