- The wooden sword scabbard is coated with blue high-gloss varnish and its tip is covered with decorated metal cap.
- The Kurigata is from buffalo horn, the Fuchi and Kashira are from iron.
- The iron Tsuba has decorative orchid inserts which gives the name to the whole sword set.
