You can return or exchange any unworn, undamaged and unwashed merchandise by mail. Returns made within 14 days of the receipt date will be refunded to the original form of payment.

How do I return or exchange my item if I am an international customer?

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a pre-paid SmartLabel for International orders. Please be sure to send your return or exchange using a method that provides a tracking number so you can follow its journey!

Need an exchange? To ensure availability of your replacement item, you may place a new order for the item you would like in exchange. If you would like to make an exchange using your packing list, please keep in mind that the applicable shipping fees will be applied to your new order. Any shipping fees associated with returned or exchanged merchandise is the responsibility of the customer and will not be refunded.

What is the difference between industrially rolled and hand-forged blades?

In the case of hand-forged blades, our blacksmith takes the already rolled spring steel and forges it by hand on the anvil or under the drop hammer. The steel gets more solid (denser) by forging. In the case of industrially rolled spring steel blades, the sheets of steel plate is cut to strips under drop snips, then ground or milled and immediately forged into the annealing furnace and oil-quenched. The properties of both kinds of steels are not very different, since industrial rolling is already very good! On forged blades are usually blacksmith marks, which give them an authentic and unique look.
