This is a reconstruction of a typical falchion from the 14th century. The falchion is a special kind of sword which was mainly used by the infantry from the high and late Middle Ages up to the Renaissance. The single-edged, slightly curved blade is typical for this kind of sword. The hardened spring steel blade is forged through to the pommel and riveted at the end of the handle. Leather-bound wooden handle. The cross-guard and the pommel are made of steel.
