This reconstruction of an Anglo-Saxon sword is based upon a finding in 1976 near the English village Gilling (Nord Yorkshire). It probably originates from the 9th or early 10th Century, an era, in which England had to fight against strong pressure outgoing from the Vikings.
Armourclass is one of UK's leading sword manufacturers. Quantities are extremely limited and waiting periods of 6 months or more are common. We usually have these swords in stock. The hardened spring steel blade is forged through to the pommel and riveted at the end of the handle. Leather wound wooden handle. Cross guard and pommel made from steel. The blade's point is rounded.
I am sorry we do not ship to the Switzerland as the Swiss customs requires a special licence for import of weapons (that we do not hold). You can make your order, as long as you can provide a delivery address in the EU.
