This reconstruction of an Anglo-Saxon sword is based upon a finding in 1976 near the English village Gilling (Nord Yorkshire). It probably originates from the 9th or early 10th Century, an era, in which England had to fight against strong pressure outgoing from the Vikings.
Armourclass is one of UK's leading sword manufacturers. Quantities are extremely limited and waiting periods of 6 months or more are common. We usually have these swords in stock. The hardened spring steel blade is forged through to the pommel and riveted at the end of the handle. Leather wound wooden handle. Cross guard and pommel made from steel. The blade's point is rounded.
If you want to wear un-padded leather gloves in the gauntlets, order both in the same size (in your case size 9). With padded leather gloves we recommend to order the gauntlets always one size higher (so in your case 10). If you discover that the goods do not fit after receiving it, you can exchange it for free. You only pay the shipping costs.
