A Japanese kitchen knife Kanetsu small with 33 layers of stainless Damascus steel. The VG10 steel core layer has a Rockwell hardness of 60-61 degrees. On both sides it is protected by layers of nickel, and silver. In addition, 15 layers of Damascus steel are forged on both sides. The so-constructed blade offers maximum cutting efficiency combined with optimal flexibility. The handle is made of black pakka wood with bolster from cocobolo wood.
