The boots are approx. 36cm high. The pair of boots in our photos were made of genuine brown leather. We photographed it on a sunny Indian-summer-day whereby the brown color was got reddish tone. The boots are provided with a rubber sole. We can also supply them with leather sole (as a custom-order), which we do not recommend, because the leather sole as opposed to the rubber sole is quite skiddy. Walking on wet grass is in them really dangerous! But if you insist the leather sole, please write your wish into your order.

Our footwear is produced from leather of three basic colours: black, dark brown and light brown (also described as tan color). Any other color has to be applied in form of special covering varnish that has one important drawback. Cracks of the varnished leather may appear after some time of use. The varnish on mechanically strained parts may even crumble away. Please consider this fact before placing your order, as we cannot provide guarantee for the varnish for two years as usually. If you intend to use such shoes or boots just only once (e.g. for a wedding) or only several times a year, we assure you the shoes will serve you well and give you joy.
The shoes are treated with balm containing beeswax. The shoes are made of genuine leather. You can treat them with various shoe care products. The balm softens the leather soft and waterproofs it. Moreover, it makes the leather darker. If you do not have the balm, you can also use oil for leather or a normal shoe polish. The shoes polish can easily tone the leather color and cover minor imperfections (e.g. scuffed shoe tips).
The daggers are approximately made as follows. The basic shape of the blade is made by a laser CNC machine. It is burned from spring steel. The semi-finished blade follows then in the groove cutter, where the cutting edge and the groove are milled. The blade is then oil-quenched and tempered to the desired hardness. Then the guard and pommel is attached to the blade tang. The tang is usually peened at the end (behind the pommel) and the cross-guard hard soldered with brass. Hardwood plates are placed under the handle wrapping from genuine cowhide so that the handle is sufficiently robust for a safe grasp. The steels surfaces obtain the desired finish in the end - with a wire brush or with a felt disc with polishing paste.
