From the starting use of the steel protections to the use of complete arms there is almost one hundred years of difference. In the 16th century in its most complicated design we can see steel arms with full protection. The 15th century gave us the most beautiful amours, namely the Italian style.
These steel arms are a nice example of Italian style, corresponding with the time between years 1390 and 1450.
These armor arms were developed by reenactors themselves and is therefore movable and fully functional. The cold-rolled steel sheet from which it is produced is not hardened in the production, because the steel plate itself with its strength of Ca 1.6 mm is already stable enough.
