This bag was modelled on a specimen from the High Gothic period. It was especially popular with French merchants and fair sellers who needed to carry large sums of money on them in order to operate their business.The flap is decorated in an unobtrusive manner with the ornament of letter B that runs around its entire edge. Belt pouch with ornaments
It is made of 2.5 - 3mm thick cowhide. It is worn suspended on the belt the width of which may be up to 5cm. Besides the colour shown in the picture the bag is available in other colours: see the choice of colour.
