A simple Leather belt Darius from the High Gothic period is composed of a double-sided buckle and up to 4 mm thick leather strap. The cowhide dyed according to the customer's request is resilient and if it is properly treated, long-term durability and firmness of the product is guaranteed. The buckle is a casting from a mould made according to the model from the period concerned. Alloys of composite materials are used to produce it. The buckle is hand sewn onto the belt's strap. A decorative groove is engraved along its edges. The belt's width is 2.7 cm. The dimensions of the brass buckle are circa 5 x 3.5 cm.
Besides the colour shown in the picture the belt is available in other colours: see the choice of colour. You can also choose the belt's length. And if you state your waist measure in the order, holes will be precisely cut in the belt so that the belt fits you well.
Please note: This product is made by hand from genuine leather. This is a purely natural material. Minor differences in the colour and surface texture are its natural characteristics. These small imperfections do not decrease the value of the product. Each piece is to some extent an original.
The production of chain mail armor requires a lot of human handiwork. We were affected by an important fact that also changed the rules in many other industries. The labor costs of European workers far exceed the labor costs in Asia, even if you take into account the transport costs from Asia! For this simple reason, in the EU there are no workshops that manufacture chain mail armor professionally - and we are working with professionals only! Hobby-producers, who occasionally work in their garages, do not fit into our business concept. We are very sorry; we cannot make for you any mail armor made-to-your measure. Some re-enactors found a solution for this situation: they buy our imported standard-sized mail shirts (sometimes oversize or several pieces), unravel them and make tailor-made mail shirts, legs and other armor parts by themselves.
