Aachen is a town in which four Czech kings have been crowned. It is also the very place where this belt pouch was a frequently used leather product. The bag's shape and the method of attachment existed in countless versions. The bag represented an unrepeatable amount of combinations in shape and colour. The bag's look depended on the experience of concerned craftsmen.
The leather belt pouch decorated with dark leather is worn suspended from the belt via loops that are simply threaded under the belt. After opening the flap is interlaced with the belt to make sure that the bag will not slide off the belt. Use of this bag is simple and practical. The flap is embellished with decorative leather bits in the shape of horns that are sewn onto it. You can choose various colours of decorative (shaping) parts of the bag's flap to satisfy your taste. It fits the belt's width of up to 4 cm.
Besides the colour shown in the picture the belt pouch is available in other colours: see the choice of colour. We recommend this belt pouch especially to sensitive lovers of history who have a sense for originality.
Please note: This product is made by hand from genuine leather. This is a purely natural material. Minor differences in the colour and surface texture are its natural characteristics. These small imperfections do not decrease the value of the product. Each piece is to some extent an original.
The production of chain mail armor requires a lot of human handiwork. We were affected by an important fact that also changed the rules in many other industries. The labor costs of European workers far exceed the labor costs in Asia, even if you take into account the transport costs from Asia! For this simple reason, in the EU there are no workshops that manufacture chain mail armor professionally - and we are working with professionals only! Hobby-producers, who occasionally work in their garages, do not fit into our business concept. We are very sorry; we cannot make for you any mail armor made-to-your measure. Some re-enactors found a solution for this situation: they buy our imported standard-sized mail shirts (sometimes oversize or several pieces), unravel them and make tailor-made mail shirts, legs and other armor parts by themselves.
