Chastity belts

This is a special category that offers completely unique accessories, namely chastity belts. It is widespread that they were used in the Middle Ages, although we have no substantiated evidence. It is quite probable that it is only a legend. The first users of chastity belts are considered to be the Crusader knights, who allegedly dressed them for their wives to prevent them from having sexual intercourse during their absence. However, the first evidence appeared in the 14th century, and before the 20th century, these belts were even padded.
